Our services for the education sector covers early years to further education and aim to equip education providers with the skills they need to provide a more inclusive education.

Our Services

  • We have a range of offers for young people from KS1 - KS5 in a variety of educational settings. Our sessions are dynamic, engaging and focus on enriching young people with crucial education around Black British history, anti racism and British identity and culture.

    Key benefits include:

    • Interactive sessions that develops learner confidence around Black British History

    • Supports and encourages learners knowledge and understanding of Black British History

    • Deepens learners’ understanding of identity and self-esteem

    Assemblies

    Our assemblies are carefully crafted to educate students about contemporary society and their multicultural environment.

    We engage students in discussions about the achievements and histories of Black Britons.

    Workshops

    Our workshops are immersive and interactive, supporting educational objectives and with different aspects of Black British History, all delivered by subject experts, teachers and other leading education, arts and heritage professionals.

    Book Assembly and Workshop Package

    Our Book Assembly and Workshop package offers young people to engage with our books around the topic of Places, Legacies or Migration in relation to Black British history.

    Educators or authors of the book deliver an engaging assembly along with the choice of:

    • arts based activity

    • reading (KS1 only)

    Schools will also receive a donation of our zine and a learning resource to support embedding either Places, Legacies or Migration into their Schemes of Work.

    Bespoke workshops

    We offer the potential for developing bespoke workshops, if our standard workshops do not meet the needs of your young people.

  • We work to offer a range of services and partnership opportunities with universities.

    We offer a range of services designed to support all staff and students in addressing issues related to diversity, anti-racism, and inclusivity.

    We offer:

    • staff anti-racism training

    • supervisor and student training

    We also work with student unions and other parts of a university to support in raising awareness around Black British history, providing young people with opportunities, aspiration and access to higher education and working with schools to support in decolonising the curriculum.

    We have previously worked with City University and work collaboratively with Cambridge Student Union.

  • We offer a range of services designed to support workplaces and organisations in addressing issues related to diversity, anti-racism, and inclusivity. These services aim to ensure that your team feels confident, equipped, and educated when handling topics of race, inequality, and representation in the workplace.

    Our corporate services are designed to support organisations in fostering inclusivity, addressing racial inequality, and deepening understanding of Black history and culture.

    We offer:

    • dynamic guest speaking sessions

    • bespoke learning workshops on Black British history

    • conduct audits and reviews of content created by organisations

    • deliver tailored anti-racism training to meet the specific needs of your team or event.

    Previous organisations we have worked with are the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Royal Opera House.

  • Springboard is an arts-based workshop programme that provides KS2 students a space for self expression through music, poetry and Black British History.

    Springboard aims to propel students’ curiosity in the arts and improve their awareness of self, through the teaching of Black British history in creative and engaging ways.

    Springboard is delivered in schools, in person our educators.

    We work with councils and academies to support rolling out the delivery of Springboard.

    We have currently worked with Liverpool Council and Orwell Academy.
